Puppy school is a great opportunity for learning at both ends of the lead! During our course we will help you to understand, teach and communicate with your puppy, so that we can set them up for success to become a well adjusted member of your family and doggy society. Puppy school is like starting a first day of school or at a new job, there will be a lot of new sights, smells, other puppies and people. You may see your puppy display different behaviours during school because of all these new experiences. We will work with you to help understand these behaviours and to help your puppy settle in this new environment. We use dividers between each puppy so that we can minimise the distractions from other puppies while they are learning new behaviours or working on settling. This means that it will be easier for your puppy to focus on you while you're teaching them. We also teach your puppy to settle on a mat during class, this is the starting point for teaching them to be able to settle anywhere on their mat, so that you can take them to cafes, the park, the beach, etc.
